Ann-Marie Chessman

We are delighted to announce that Ann-Marie Chessman was recently successful in securing the position of Musical Director of the Stevenage Ladies Choir.
Several candidates applied and were interviewed for the position and we would like to thank them all for their professionalism and time in applying.  It was a very close decision by the choir members but we are now looking forward to Ann Marie leading us forward in our musical endeavours.
Well done Ann-Marie!!

Ann-Marie was educated in Stevenage and was an active member in both local and county ensembles. She then went to University at Brunel where she completed a Batchelor of Arts with Honours in Music before completing a Postgraduate Certificate in Education at Goldsmiths University. She is now teaching Music and ICT at The Priory School in Hitchin, playing clarinet with The Central Band of the Royal British Legion alongside conducting, arranging and performing with us, The Stevenage Ladies Choir.
